Students in Coach Lee's United States History class learned how to analyze support and opposition to ratification of the U.S. constitution by reading short articles in groups and then answering thought-provoking questions in a collaborative activity.

💖 February is American Heart Month! 💖
This month, let's come together to raise awareness about heart health and take steps to protect our most vital organ. ❤️ Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, but the good news is that many heart conditions can be prevented through healthy lifestyle choices!
Here are a few ways you can take action this February:
1️⃣ Eat Heart-Healthy: Fill your plate with fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins. Limit sodium and processed foods.
2️⃣ Get Moving: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week.
3️⃣ Know Your Numbers: Keep track of your blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. Early detection is key!
4️⃣ Quit Smoking: Your heart will thank you.
5️⃣ Manage Stress: Find healthy ways to relax and unwind, like yoga, meditation, or spending time with loved ones.
Let’s make our hearts a priority this month and every month! 💪❤️

February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on the incredible contributions, resilience, and achievements of Black individuals throughout history. It’s a moment to honor the leaders, innovators, and everyday heroes who have shaped our world. Let's come together to celebrate, educate, and continue working towards equality and justice for all.

Happy School Counselor Week - February 3rd - 7th. Thank you to our wonderful School Counselor, Ms. Williams.

The PBiS Team's January S'MORE Celebration is tomorrow! For eligible students to get their tickets to the celebration, students will need to go to the PBiS Table to pick up their wrist bands in Spirit Hall on Thursday, January 30th during breakfast or lunch. Only students who pick up their wrist bands will be allowed to attend the event.

It was a barbecue kind of day in our Ag Department today!

Good evening, Terrier Families,
I wanted to remind you that students have been having very important conversations with their teachers this week about their academic goals as part of our "Chat with a Champion" week.
Please consider sitting down with your child and asking them about the academic goals that they've discussed with their teachers.
As the old saying goes, "It takes a village!"
Have a great evening!
Sincerely,
Dr. Roy

Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose tireless fight for justice, equality, and peace continues to inspire us all. His dream of a world where people are judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin, reminds us of the ongoing work we must do to create a better future for all of our students. Let’s commit to his vision and carry his message of love and unity forward every day.
